A landmark book showing how education and empowering women and young girls leads to progress
Three cups of tea is perhaps one of the best humanitarian and development related books I've read recently. Greg Mortenson eloquently tells his ordeal of bringing a glimmer of hope into remote areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He shows when girls and women are empowered, they take their future and destiny in their hands.
He should be rewarded for his stamina and believing in the people who he has chosen to serve.
Definitely he should be put forward for Peace Noble Prize.
I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially those who may have some prejudice vis-a-vis these countries.
